Patricia Domic, 33, has turned quite a few fitness myths on their head by proving that you can get your best ever body back after having three children, you can change your figure completely but barely lose weight, you don’t need a swanky gym to get amazing results and you can create your own energy and leap out of bed, raring to go day after day after day….

Like many women her age Patricia wasn’t exactly overweight but she was carrying excess body fat, had little muscle definition or tone and suffered from poor posture. She followed the EAS Body-for-LIFE programme and this is what she achieved.

What is Body-for-LIFE?

The EAS Body-for-LIFE exercise and nutrition programme alternates short, intensive 45-minute weight training sessions on one day with 20-minute cardio vascular sessions the next. The intensity of the sessions is high to ensure that participants can suitably fatigue their body and ‘overload’ their muscles, therefore ensuring impressive results. It’s improved the way I feel about myself. Having children, when you look in the mirror you think you’re getting old and flabby. Now I know I don’t have to be that way just because I’ve had children. You can be and look as young as you want to be.

Within a month my waist was different, my bum was lifted, my clothes were getting baggier and my energy levels were really good.

When you have children you drag yourself out of bed and are lucky to get breakfast or lunch. I would get the children up and ready but forget about myself. I used to eat crisps, biscuits and unhealthy snacks during the day. For the first few weeks the new diet was quite hard because I was just going to the cupboard, opening it and then shutting it again!

What is the Body-for-LIFE Challenge?

The Body-for-LIFE Challenge is the competitive side of Body-for-LIFE. The Challenge is open to men and women of all ages, even those new to exercise. People keen to change their body shape and boost their energy levels, while not having to worry about counting calories, will find it rewarding and even life transforming. Participants can enter in a range of categories, including male and female aged 18-30, 31-40 and 40 plus, by submitting ‘before’ and ‘after’ photographs. A winner is selected in each category and then overall winners are chosen in male and female categories.
